C.M.P. School, Hissar

This school is situated in the lap of the neat and clean environment of nature – 35 KM away from Madhubani, District Head-Quarter. Public transport is available from Madhubani Via Benipatti to Hissar. This school is far away from the hustle and bustle of an town. We aspire to make it just like Shantiniketan one day in future. The campus having double storied buildings alongwith a big hall. The newly constructed school Auditorium is being used for various school functions. School is surrounded by high boundary wall from all sides. It is in the heart of the peaceful surrounding. This school is managed by Educational welfare society, a registered body under the Indian Societies Registration Act. The school has well equipped modern laboratories. It has also a well stocked library.

Admission Registration

Registration for class Std.I is done in December and January. An attested photocopy of Birth certificate is to be submitted with Admission form. Admission for STD.I is granted on the basis of simple conversation with the child along with their parents.

For other classes admission will be granted on the basis of a written test – which comprises of a written examination in English, Hindi and Mathematics. No specific syllabus is prescribed for the admission test but a candidate must have sufficient knowledge of the subject for the class lower than that in which he / she desires admission.

After qualifying a written test, both the parents are requested to accompany their child. The admission form is to be signed by the person responsible for paying school fees / dues.

School Session

(a) The session starts on 2nd April and ends on 31st March every year with two vacations (Winter and Summer). Seven day’s special leave with prior permission from Principal is allowed to cater for marriage / festive occasions in the family.

(b) School Hours: 10.20 AM to 3.40 PM including break (1.10 PM to 1.40 PM)

Courses of Study

Language – English, Hindi, Sanskrit
Other Subject – Mathematics, SST, General Science, G.K., Computer Science, and EVS (Environment Studies)

Examination and Promotion

Examinations are held thrice a year during the academic session apart from monthly tests ( I Semester, 2 Semester & Final Examination )

Assessment is done on the basis of the performance in Monthly test and semester examinations. Promotion to the next class depends on the child’s performance throughout the year. Besides they must have:

a) At least 75% attendance in each term.
b) At least 40% in main subject.

Students failing in a class for two consecutive years will be issued Transfer Certificate.

Extra Curricular Activities

With a view to bring all round development of the students we encourage them to participate in various co-curricular activities.

Some of the activities are:-
Group Dance, Painting, Skit, Cricket, Football, Badminton, Hindi and English Speech, Poem recitation in Hindi and English Patriotic Song, Bhajan etc.

Past Achievements

Within a short span the school has been able to establish its prominence in the locality as many ex-students of the school have obtained degree in graduate and PG, engineering, cost accountancy, MBA. Teacher’s training. It has been a source of inspiration for the school and members of the teaching staff when such ex-students assemble on annual day function and narrate their past experience of days spent in the school. House System

The house system fosters a spirit of competition, co-operation, leadership, initiative and self-restraint among the students. It instills love for others and healthy competition. There are 4 Houses in the School-Shradha, Vivek, Kshama and Shanti. Each student will be enrolled into one the houses.

Withdrawal

i) For withdrawal of a student from school a calendar month’s notice must be given in writing otherwise a month’s fee will be charged.
ii) The school will issue Transfer Certificate only when all dues have been cleared.
iii) The Security deposit is refundable only on production of the original Security Deposit Receipt.
iv) A student can be dismissed by the school authorities on any of the following grounds-
(a) Irregular Attendance.
(b) Late Payment or non-payment of fees.
(c) Failing for two consecutive years in the same class.
(d) Whose conduct is injurious to the moral tone of the school or incompatible to discipline.

The school management reserves the right to alter / amend any of the rules in this prospectus at any time according to its discretion. Examination/ vacation dates are subject to change as per school convenience considering the interest of the students.
